Because i saw in many reviews peoples are claiming bsnl evdo data card is giving very high speed with downloading speed 100-300 kbps per second. Which i think is decent as compared to other data cards and the plans bsnl is providing in india. Right now you can use unlimited 2.4 mbps net connection in 650 rs per month. But some part of country it is not getting good responses. I think tower may be far from the original location.

Reliance Data Card: Reliance is another good company which is provides net connection. It has two types of data cards. 1x 230 kbps znet data card and another is 3.5 MBPS data card. 1x data card has different plans on time based. Like you can used its data card for day and night for particular hours every month. Like 50 hours day and 100 hours night. And after these you need to pay for every minute. You can take 300rs, 400 rs and 400 rs unlimited plans night. or 800 rs unlimited plans for every month.

And 3.5 MBPS data card has no unlimited plan right now. You can use plans like 10GB, 20 GB etc for different rentals.

Tata Indicom Photon: Like reliance data card tata indicom photon is also good company providing good net speed. It has 144 kbps data card with monthly rental 700 for unlimited usage. Also, it has high speed wireless internet connections. But unlike reliance you can use all hours any time day or night.

Idea data card: Few of my friends bought this data card recently. Why because their rental for unlimited plans is lowest as compared to same data card speed. They are charging 600rs per month for unlimited data internet usage. This low speed data card cost around 2000 rs and monthly 600rs if you buy unlimited net connections. These two girls told me that idea data card has moderated speed. Good for internet usage and for daily work.

Airtel Data Card: One of my friend bought airtel data card one and half year ago. That time he was on unlimited plans of 500 rs per month. But his data card was not working in other states. Still he was very unsatisfied that time. But you can check the performance of data card in your region.

Which is best data card in India

• Take cost and speed as criteria: If you can spend 650 rs per month and also want high speed net connections Then buy bsnl evdo data card. Why because you are getting unlimited data usage for 650rs.
• Take Speed as criteria: Reliance and tat indicom photon has more then 3 MBPS data cards. But these are not unlimited. These data card provides decent speeds in metros in India with A and B class cities.
• Unlimited plans with 230 kbps data cards: Many places where bsnl data cards don't have good speed. So, you try reliance net connect and tata indicom photon. These two company provide national roaming also.

It is recommended to know what unlimited data usage means because few companies means unlimited data usage or 15 GB/20 GB. After they will charge some money per MB or every minutes. Also, Taking advice from the people who is already using advisable. Because some times data card work in some area very good and some areas which is far from tower gives different performance. Like identify how far is cdma tower is from your home for any company.
